I-66(E-W)/US 50(E-W) Duplex

 

Interstate 66 and United States Route 50 join for a half mile to cross the Potomac River in Washington, DC.

Westbound on I-66 at the merge with US 50. The duplex begins here on the east side of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge.

Toward the west side of the bridge, US 50 exits, still in the District of Columbia. I-66 continues westward toward Manassas, while US 50 parallels the freeway on its way to Winchester.
