United States Route 113 and Delaware Business Route 1 join for 0.33 miles near Milford in Kent County.

US 113 and DE 1 split just north of Milford. DE 1 continues southeastward to the beach resorts in southeast Delaware and near Ocean City, MD. US 113/Business DE 1 follow the old US 113 aligment for a third of a mile. At that point, US 113 follows its arterial bypass of Milford while Business DE 1 follows the old alignments of US 113 and DE 14 through Milford.
In 2004, US 113 was truncated so that it's northern beginning is at this US 113/DE 1 split, making US 113's northernmost third of a mile concurrent with Business DE 1's. However, as of Sept. 2004, US 113 is still signed north up to Dover.
