US 13(N-S)/DE 15(N-S) DuplexUnited States Route 13 and Delaware Route 15 join for 0.1 miles near Canterbury in Kent County.
DE 15 north meets US 13, which is a divided four-lane highway.
Signs along US 13 north at the southern split.
The US 13/DE 15 duplex is a result of taking two roads (US 13 and DE 15) that met at a sharp angle and turning that intersection into two where the roads meet at right angles. Thus DE 15 curves to meet US 13, then follows it for a tenth of a mile, and then leaves US 13 at another right angle. This photo shows the northern split, just barely north of the southern split. Alternate US 13 begins following DE 15 north.
Alternate US 13/DE 15 south at the northern split. Alternate US 13 ends, and DE 15 turns right to briefly follow US 13.
The northern split as seen from US 13 south. Alternate US 13/DE 15 north makes a right turn.
Just to the south, DE 15 splits off to the southeast.
