MD 2/MD 4 is a divided arterial highway serving the west shore of the Chesapeake Bay. The duplex is signed mainly with two sign styles. The newer style is separate MD 2 and MD 4 shields posted on two connected posts, as shown here.

The older style is to put "2-4" on the same shield. MD 2 ends just past the south end of the duplex in Solomons.
