US Route 1 and Maryland Truck Route 222 join for a 5.7-mile, wrong-way, duplex from Kilby Corner to Harrisville in Cecil County.

Northbound on US 1/MD 222, where MD 222 is the former US 222. To the south, MD 222 passes through the narrow streets of Port Deposit and encounters sharp turns and steep grades along the Susquehanna River east shore; see Truck MD 222/MD 275.
