and US 301 finally split near Queenstown.

US 50 exits from the US 301 mainline and turns south to Easton and
then east to Salisbury and Ocean City. US 301 traverses 40 miles of
Maryland to lead to northern Delaware.

Now on US 50 westbound at the eastern split. The dual roadway splits
into a forest.
