Business US Route 15 and Pennsylvania Route 116 join for a block
in Gettysburg in Adams County.

A well-landscaped traffic circle marks the center of Gettysburg,
a town made famous by the Civil War battles that took place almost
150 years ago in and around the town. Today, three routes meet here:
Business US 15, US 30, and PA 116. This view is from Business US 15
north/PA 116 east. US 30 runs to the left and right.

Signs at the traffic circle indicate that PA 116 leaves Business
US 15 to join US 30 east here.

Timothy Reichard 6/8/03
From the westward view, PA 116 west leaves US 30 west to join Business
US 15 south at the traffic circle.

Here is one more view of the traffic circle, this time from Business
US 15 south. The Business US 15/PA 116 duplex begins on the other
side. Tour buses are common in this tourist town.

Timothy Reichard 6/8/03
The duplex last only one block, and then PA 116 splits to the west
on Middle Street.

Jason Ilyes 3/22/02
From the view along Middle Street/PA 116 east, PA 116 turns left
onto Business US 15. PA 97 (the former US 140) does not actually reach
as far north as the city limits, ending instead at the US 15 freeway
to the southeast, but is here signed anyway.

Finally, the southern split as seen from Business US 15 northbound.
PA 116 joins at the traffic light, and the traffic circle is a block
further ahead.
