United States Route 19 and Truck Route 19 join twice in southwest
Pittsburgh in Allegheny County. Truck US 19, both northbound and southbound
in the same lane, follows US 19 south for a tenth of a mile, then
loops around to the north to join US 19 north at Exit 5A of I-279/US
22/US 30. The US 19/Truck US 19 duplex then joins the I-279/US 22/US
30 triplex to make Pennsylvania's only quintuplex (see
below).
No photos of the US 19/Truck US 19 duplex have been submitted.

Eastbound on I-279/US 22/US 30 where US 19 north/Truck US 19 north&south
has briefly joined. This multiplex is Pennsylvania's only quintuplex.
The interchange with Saw Mill Run Boulevard is next, where the first
exit leads to Truck US 19/PA 51
south and the second exit to US 19/PA
51 north. I-279 north/Truck US 19 north/US 22 east/US 30 east
continues on the Penn-Lincoln Parkway, which is this freeway. Orange
guide signs were erected during the construction period for the Fort
Pitt Bridge.

to US 19/Truck US 19, which is a short, paralleling road off to the
right.

A closer view of the split. I-279/US 22/US 30 continues onward while
Truck US 19 south splits off to meet US 19.
