120 and PA 144 split in the center of Renovo. PA 120 winds its way to its end
near Lock Haven without passing though any other significantly large towns, paralleling
the West Branch Susquehanna River the entire way.

PA 120 is a segment of
the former US 120, which was (and still is) the Bucktail Trail Highway. This sign
stands along PA 120 eastbound east of the duplex with PA 144.

south from the eastern split, the route crosses the West Branch Susquehanna River.
