Southbound on the four-lane, divided highway duplex. Only the section of PA 21 and PA 166 that are joined has been upgraded to a divided highway in this area.

A mile to the south, PA 166 exits at a partial diamond interchange and directly serves the center of Masontown. PA 21 continues westward toward Waynesburg.
