The PA 239/PA 487 duplex begins here in the heart of Benton, a small,
well-kept town south of the forests of Rickett's Glen State Park.

The two routes join here on the south side of town. This is the southern
split as viewed from PA 487 northbound. PA 239/PA 487 then crosses Fishing
Creek over the bridge just ahead.

Now facing to the south, the two routes split. PA 487 heads toward Bloomsburg
while PA 239 heads to Shickshinny to duplex with US 11.

eventually ending at PA 42.
