PA 54(E-W)/PA 901(E-W) Duplex

 

PA 54 and PA 901 join for about 4 miles through Locust Gap in Northumberland County.

Westbound along PA 901 where the route meets PA 54's new alignment. The duplexed road is labeled by little white signs as SR 901 instead of SR 54 (usually the lower number is chosen as the SR number in a state routes multiplex) because PA 54 was previously routed along PA 61 to the north through Centralia. PA 54 leaves the western split here as SR 2035.

A few miles to the southeast, PA 901 splits to the south. PA 54 continues straight ahead on its new routing on SR 2042.
