PA 56(E-W)/Alternate PA 66(N-S, S-N) Duplex

Pennsylvania Route 56 and Alternate Route 66 join for a short duplex from Vandergrift in Westmoreland County to North Vandergrift in Armstrong County. Alternate PA 66 north joins PA 56 east only, but Alternate PA 66 south joins PA 56 in both directions.

PA 56/Alternate PA 66 cross the Kiskiminetas River three blocks after joining.

After crossing the bridge, the duplex meets PA 66 and splits apart. Alternate PA 66 continues northward through Dime to meet PA 66 again, while PA 56 joins PA 66 here and heads south to North Apollo.
