in Crawford County.

Northbound on PA 8 in Titusville at the eastern split. PA 27 follows
two one-way streets through town. PA 27 east is the left turn here, and
in the distance, PA 8 north/PA 27 west heads left.

Meeting the same intersections from the north, PA 89 south ends at the
PA 8/PA 27 eastern split. Here are signs for the duplex to the right,
and for the separate routes straight ahead. PA 8 south is straight ahead
and leads to PA 27 east a block later. Further north, PA 8 and PA 89 will
join in a duplex. A wider number font is used here, which is typical for
one-digit routes like PA 8, but less typical for two-digit routes lacking
a digit "1", like PA 27 (compare with PA
18/PA 21).

A third view of the eastern split, along PA 27 west. Titusville is also
home to the Truck PA 8 and Truck PA 27 truck routes, which form
a duplex to the south. Trucks have difficulty making turns at this
intersection, so a truck route is provided.

After a few blocks, PA 8 splits off to the north and the two one-way
PA 8/PA 27 streets join at the west end of town. Thus a left turn leads
to PA 8 south/PA 27 east.

Eastbound along the duplex. The truck route for PA 8 begins along Perry
Street.
