PA 550 is the middle of the three routes that Truck PA 45 follows in avoiding curvy, steep terrain in the Spruce Creek area. This is the northern start to the duplex in Warriors Mark.

Truck PA 45 and PA 350 split here in Warriors Mark at a four-way stop. This is the view from Truck PA 45/PA 350. PA 350 continues forward, while PA 550 runs to the left and right. Truck PA 45 turns left onto PA 550 southbound.

Like the intersection of PA 350 and PA 550, the intersection of PA 453 and PA 550 is two splits in one: the western split of Truck PA 45/PA 550 and the northern split of Truck PA 45/PA 453. This view is from Truck PA 45 eastbound/PA 453 northbound. In Tyrone, one mile ahead, PA 453 meets unsigned Business US 220 to make another duplex.

Here is another view of the splits, this time from PA 453 southbound. Unlike the eastern split in Warriors Mark, Truck PA 45/PA 550 begins here at an intersection with two turning lanes in addition to the two-lane mainline.
