US 119(N-S)/Truck PA 286(E-W) Duplex

United States Route 119 and Pennsylvania Truck Route 286 join for three miles on the eastern Indiana bypass in Indiana County.

Northbound on US 119, south of Indiana. US 119 follows a freeway bypass to the east of town and meets US 422 and other state routes at a cloverleaf interchange south of town. For the mile south of the interchange, US 119 is joined by Business US 422/PA 56. At the interchange, PA 56 exits onto US 422 west, Business US 422 ends, and Truck PA 286 leaves US 422 to join US 119 here. This is the first reassurance shield for Truck PA 286.

At the next exit, Truck PA 286 will leave US 119, heading into town to meet PA 286, which goes to the center of town. No signs are posted that explicitly announce that Truck PA 286 exits here.

Now southbound at the US 422 interchange. Though not signed, Truck PA 286 exits here to follow US 422/PA 56 west toward Kittanning.
