US 1(N-S)/Old US 13(N-S) Duplex

United States Routes 1 and 13 used to join for 13 miles through Philadelphia in Philadelphia County. Today, the routes remain concurrent for the 5 eastern miles of old duplex, and this page covers the western miles where US 1 or US 13 no longer runs.

Southbound on City Avenue/US 1 in western Philadelphia past Belmont Road, old signs are still posted from the days of the US 1/US 13 duplex. US 13 has since been relocated to another southerly route, making the remaining US 13 sign an error.
