United States Routes 1 and 322 join for two miles from Painters Crossroads to Concordville in Delaware County.

Reassurance shields westbound. US 1 between Philadelphia and the Maryland border runs more east-west than north-south, but the entire US 1 runs from Maine to Florida, undoubtedly a north-south route.
