There are two western splits, one for US 222 north/PA 741 west, shown here, and another for US 222 south/PA 741 east. US 222/PA 741 meets PA 272, which is a divided highway, whose north- and southbound lanes are more than a tenth mile apart. US 222 north joins PA 272 north to the left.
