Brookville in Jefferson County.

PA 36 meets the US 322/PA 28 duplex here in the middle of Brookville.

Here is a closer view of the intersection and signs. The triplex continues
ahead up a long, steep hill. Note the old NO U TURN sign at the right.

David Slauenwhite 4/12/02
After continuing over the hill, traffic on the triplex approaches this
rarity in Pennsylvania: a three-way split. US 322 continues straight ahead,
while PA 28 and PA 36 split in different directions at the same intersection.
Three three routes split at the traffic signal ahead. Note the orange
and green detour routes, which head along PA 36 northbound toward I-80.

David Slauenwhite 4/12/02
Here is the three-way split from the other direction along US 322. A
blue detour route also joins PA 36 northbound and the orange and green
detour routes. I-80 can be seen from the intersection.
