Westbound on the Benjamin Franklin Highway/US 422 westbound in Belsano, a small village in western Cambria County. PA 271 north joins here having come from Nanty Glo.

PA 271 is the only non-freeway route with which this US 422 shares pavement. The eastern segment of US 422 does have a similar duplex with PA 743. The US 422/PA 271 duplex, shown here, lasts less than a half mile.
