Jeff Snyder
Eastbound on I-676/US 30 on the Benjamin
Franklin Bridge, which crosses the Delaware River and links Philadelphia
to Camden. The bridge and its approaches disqualify for interstate
freeway standards. I-676 is one of the few interstates to have a non-freeway
section in its middle. This part is more appropriately US 30 than
I-676.

Jeff Snyder
The bridge is 1.8 miles long, connecting to freeway sections of I-676
at each end. The maximum speed limit is 35 mph.

Jeff Snyder
US 30 splits off to the left one the east side of the bridge, while
I-676 turns south through Camden to meet I-76.

Jeff Snyder
On the New Jersey shore, eastbound traffic bypasses the tollbooth,
while westbound traffic must stop and pay. The speed limit reduces
to 20 mph for eastbound traffic as it loops around the booth.
