Douglas Kerr 4/28/02
Northbound on US 220 at the NY 17 interchange near the New York/Pennsylvania
border. The interchange resides entirely inside Pennsylvania just
a few feet south of the border, and the NY 17/Future I-86 freeway
indeed traverses extreme northern Pennsylvania here. US 220 ends about
300 ft north of the border at Chemung Street.

Douglas Kerr 4/28/02
Bradford Street runs parallel to the border in Pennsylvania a few
feet south of the border. Bradford Street provides access from US
220 to two of the four ramps in the US 220 & NY 17 interchange.
US 220 runs left and right in this photo, ending just off to the right.

Douglas Kerr 4/28/02
Westbound on NY 17 at the US 220 exit in Pennsylvania. This exit
leads first to Bradford Street, then to US 220 as in the previous
photo.

After the NY 17 freeway was completed in South Waverly, PA, US 220
may have been moved to follow current PA 199 to the NY 17 interchange
